As per the notification issued by the “MINISTRY OF HEALTH AND FAMILY WELFARE (Department of Health and Family Welfare on 24th September 2020. S.O. 3263(E)”, Medical Council of India is dissolved. Government has also dissolved the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956. National Medical Commission Act, 2019 will be superseded. Because as if you are going to search on the google about the temperature or the weather condition of the country Ukraine then you will get that the temperature of Ukraine always varies between -5 to 20 degree this means extreme cold weather. And for the Indian students, it will become a more bad thing because in India 10 to 45 degree. That’s why it will become a bit more problematic for the students who want to complete the MBBS from Ukraine and travel from India to Ukraine. Hence, the weather will be the one kind of disadvantage in completing MBBS in Ukraine.

2. Communication:

              As all of us know that better communication will be done only when persons who communicate with each other will definitely know the language and then it will be good communication. But in Ukraine, it is the drawback that lots of institutes are not going to prefer the English language instead of English they are going to use their mother tongue. So if you are going to take the admission then you must have to check the communication language of that institute. If it is understandable then it is ok but if it is not understandable then you must have to learn the language. Hence, this one is also a disadvantage of studying MBBS in Ukraine.

3. Cheater Agents:

              Lots of students are going to be the victim of fraud regarding this education outside of India. Be aware because if agents will tell you that you can complete your MBBS course in only 4 years then he is going to loot you because there is no country which is going for the only 4 years of MBBS course. This is only possible in the Philippines. Also, just don’t hand over all money regarding your education to the agent. 4. Food:

              If you came from India to complete the MBBS in Ukraine then you must have to sacrifice the taste of the food which is present in India. But the student doesn’t have to distract from his study and academic work. According to my study and research in the drugs and alcohol cases, there are 70% of the students were involved. So, you have to understand what is right and what is wrong. Just stay with your main moto don’t distract from it for the things like parties and clubbing. If you will be able to do your best for studying MBBS in the 6 years of course then no one can stop you from becoming the best doctor in the entire world. Hence. this is also one kind of disadvantage of studying MBBS in Ukraine.

Intake for Indian students for MBBS in Ukraine

For Indian students, there are two intakes for MBBS in Ukraine in all the Ukrainian universities. Many Indian students migrate to Ukraine to pursue their careers in medicine. The intake of Indian students in universities is not very high, each university takes between 125-150 students each year. This is to maintain the teacher-student ratio, which is said to be at 1:15.  The intake of students is pretty rigorous and only the best of the best applications are granted admission. - There are two seasons for intakes.

-  The first intake takes place in September-October for all universities.

- Admission to top universities in Ukraine generally ends by August, so it is a good idea to complete your application early.

- The last dates for intakes are usually the end of October and Feb for both the seasons.

Educational Loan and Financial advice to parents

The loan is usually undertaken in the name of the student, who is expected to repay the loan upon receiving employment, in the form of EMIs.Although the loan is in the student’s name, some part of it is usually co-borrowed by the student’s guardians to secure the repayment of the loan. Public Sector banks provide 3 slabs of loan services that can be availed as per convenience. These banks also look into past records and backgrounds to ensure the potential repayment of the loan. To avail a loan of INR 4 Lacs, parents' income proof needs to be submitted, For a loan of INR 7.5 lacs, Guarantor’s income proof is to be submitted and for loans exceeding an amount of INR 20 Lacs, additional collateral security may have to be submitted.

Most educational loans work on a 10-15 year return period with a 1 year Moratorium period upon completion of the course(where the student can look for employment opportunities). Interest rates on educational loans come up to 12%.
 

National Exit Test (NEXT) coaching in Ukraine

3. Danylo Halytsky Lviv National Medical University

Established in 1921, the Vinnytsia National Medical University is recognized and accredited by the MCI, and the WHO. It ranks 39^th among the country and 5232 in the world. 6. Ternopil National Medical University

Ternopil Medical University was established in 1957. The prestigious University ranks among the top-most Medical Universities of Ukraine. 7. Petro Mohyla Black Sea National University

One of the most influential institutions in the southern region of Ukraine is The Black Sea National University which was established in 1996. It is a division of national University ‘’Kyiv Mohla Academy’. 8. The Ukrainian Medical Stomatological Academy

 The Ukrainian Medical Stomatological Academy is one of the oldest Government universities in Ukraine and was established in 1921. Due to the low death rate during surgery, the University received the highest accreditation level and was renamed as Poltava State Medical University (PSMU). In 2004, PSMU got a level-IV accreditation and is an MCI, WHO, USMLE, PLAB, I-MED School, Medical Council of Nepal recognized Medical University in Ukraine. 9. Kyiv Medical University

 V. Pokanevich (1950-2012), established the Kyiv Medical University in 1992. It is one of the best leading medical universities situated in the capital of Ukraine, Kyiv. This University is listed in all relevant international directories of medical universities such as IMED and ECFMG.
